Vallegaudia is an artistic residence and cultural space immersed in the countryside, where nature, performance and shared experiences come together through workshops, events, theater and creative research.
The project was created to build a digital identity capable of reflecting the soul of the space: vibrant, human, playful and artistic, while maintaining a clear and accessible navigation structure.
The goal was to design a website able to communicate atmosphere and personality without sacrificing usability, balancing editorial aesthetics, dynamic layouts and practical information.
I handled the entire creative and technical process: interface design, visual direction, typography, development, responsive structure, multilingual setup, SEO optimization and technical configuration.
WIREFRAME
The site’s architecture was built by alternating immersive sections and editorial content, maintaining a simple and readable navigation.
The homepage focuses on verticality and visual rhythm: large images, videos, color blocks, and introductory texts guide the user through a progressive discovery of the project.
Particular attention was paid to:
- clear visual hierarchy
- readability of content
- balance between gameplay and functionality
- modularity of sections
- consistent experience between desktop and mobile
The interface was designed to convey a sense of openness, creativity, and movement, without sacrificing accessibility and ease of use.

Font
The color scheme draws directly from the Vallegaudia logo and is developed through four primary colors. The palette was used dynamically yet balancedly, reflecting the nature of the project: artistic, convivial, open, and multidisciplinary.
The interface shapes also follow this direction. Soft corners, rounded elements, and less rigid compositions help create a more human and welcoming visual language, consistent with the project’s tone.
For the typography, I worked on the dialogue between expressiveness and readability:
- Things, an elegant yet accessible serif, defines the titles with personality and editorial character.
- Manrope, a clean and contemporary sans serif, accompanies the entire text, ensuring fluidity and clarity.
These elements create a lively yet balanced visual identity, capable of conveying both professionalism and a creative spirit.
Animations
DEVELOPMENT
The site was developed on WordPress with a highly customized approach, both graphically and functionally.
From a technical standpoint, I worked on:
- responsive optimization
- on-page SEO
- cache configuration and performance
- privacy policy and GDPR management
- contact form integration
- multilingual automatic translation
- micro animations and custom interactions
Particular attention was paid to the interface’s movement: hover effects, content reveals, dynamic graphic elements, and smooth transitions help make navigation more lively without compromising usability and performance.
